Small image tasks deserve clear tools.
CleanImg Online helps people prepare everyday images without learning a large editing program. Each page is built around one job, with the controls, explanations, and limits placed where they are useful.
Why this site exists
A simple request such as “make this image smaller” can lead to a crowded editor with dozens of controls. The person uploading a marketplace photo, preparing a document scan, or changing a file format usually needs fewer choices and better answers.
CleanImg Online was built around that gap. The tool should make the task quick. The page around it should help the visitor choose a sensible format, understand a size change, avoid damaging the original, and know when a different tool is the better route.
A successful download is only part of the job. The result also has to fit the place where it will be used.
That principle shapes the whole site. A JPG-to-PNG page explains why the new file may become larger and why conversion cannot invent transparency. A WebP page exposes quality and dimensions before export. Resize and crop pages give the visitor control instead of silently choosing settings.
Yassine El Mernissi
CleanImg Online was founded by Yassine El Mernissi, a 33-year-old Moroccan publisher with a long-standing interest in practical image tools. He created the site to make common image tasks easier to understand and complete without forcing visitors through unnecessary steps.
Yassine manages the website independently. His work includes editorial review, publishing, checking tool pages, maintaining the site, and correcting content or technical issues when they are identified. His academic milestones include a baccalaureate earned in 2012, a bachelor's degree earned in 2016, and an information technology diploma earned in 2021.
The combination of hands-on site management and information technology training supports the site's focus on clear instructions, responsible maintenance, and tools that are tested from a visitor's point of view.
How we build a tool page
The interface and the written guidance are reviewed together. A polished button cannot compensate for unclear results.
Start with one outcome
Every page answers a specific need. Controls that do not support that outcome are left out, while decisions that affect the result remain visible.
Follow the visitor’s steps
Choose a file, adjust it, inspect the preview, download the result, and recover from a mistake. Labels and status messages are written around that route.
Show what changes
File format, pixel dimensions, compression, transparency, and metadata are different questions. Our guides separate them so visitors can make an informed choice.
Correct unclear pages
We revise instructions when a browser behavior, supported format, service limit, or tool workflow changes. Material corrections should reach the page itself.
Privacy starts with the processing route
Tools for resizing, cropping, and format conversion are designed to process the image inside the visitor’s browser. The page identifies situations where another processing service is required. More detail about technical data, cookies, and third parties belongs in the Privacy and Cookie policies.
Original files still matter. Browser conversion can remove camera metadata, a compressed file may already contain visible damage, and closing a tab can remove temporary download links. We state these limits close to the tool because that is where they affect the decision.
